The Mistral was specifically designed for the day/weekend paddler. Based on the original Shoreline we have reduced the rocker and included a variable skeg, this has increased the forward speed and directional stability. The deck now has a large keyhole cockpit, 2 large hatches and a small day hatch behind the seat. The Mistral is an ideal coastal exploration kayak, stable and forgiving for the novice yet lively and exciting for the expert.
